I currently have Coldfusion running on IIS on our webserver. I need to install Apache for a website I am working on.

I've been doing research on how to handle Coldfusion for both servers but I'm not sure what the best way is.

1. I could install Apache on Port 80 and move IIS to another port. If I do that, will I have to tell Coldfusion which port IIS moved to? Will I need to do anything at all with Coldfusion?
I could also move Coldfusion to Apache but I'm not sure how to do that.

2. I could install Apache and turn off IIS. I'd have to set up Coldfusion to work with the Apache server.

I didn't install Coldfusion so I don't know how it was done. I just know that it's running on IIS.

TIA for the advice!

I would avoid all the trouble and see if you could install apache on another server or in a vm

That is exactly what I'm doing. :)

Now, if I could just figure out how to get PHP working with Apache when it was already configured with IIS....
