to start with .. lemme ask u .. whether i can use <?php ?> inside <script ></script> anywhere and also if i can use html tags there?????????????????????????

Yes and yes. But you wouldn't normally put html inside the script tag.
php is very useful for passing data to js. php is done and dusted before js gets started. js is run by the browser after it receives the completed php-modified html.
