Its not great.

It just uses a lot of regular expressions and replaces text with php code, writes it to a new file, and executes it. Not very creative, but works.

It's missing an important feature: caching.

Actually, it takes more than 4 years work, because is studied to be easy for designer and developer, and yes it is "just" regular expression that convert html to php, with a chaching system that improve the execution speed.
