hosting site on personal web host....!!

i am trying to host my own site............i have one static ip address...........and windows xp and wamp installed the site is working fine ............. but when ever i try to see the site it imediately starts to download original index.php file but when ever i try to access my site on any other network or computer it works fine...........what is going on

How are you accessing the page on your PC? (the one that downloads it)

Usually when Apache sends the PHP file rather then the output, it is because Apache is not set up to associate .php files with PHP. But if that were the case, it should happen both remotely and locally.

Check the access and error logs. See if there is something unusual there. Those are found under the Apache directory on Windows, in the logs\access.log file.
