Hi all, feel good to be back!
I am looking for a server side RSS aggregator (open-source) that would propose the most output options. I do not really care about client-side-wise features, as it will be modified to fit my needs. Ideally it would be based on a SQL like DB, and written in either Java, PHP or python.
I've spent the last day and a half going over the countless projects that are out there; two were standing out for me:

rNews
and
tiny tiny RSS

Now I am a bit struggling finding description of their different output options and also, would love to hear objective feedbacks from real users.
Any other directions are also very welcomed!

a cool aggregator but dead and not open source.
