Default button on content page?

Hai all,
how to have default button in a content page. currently if i hit enter ket my master page search getting fire. i also place my master page in panel. for content for also i placed the button inside panel and set panel default button. but still my master page button getting fire. help me on this

Wrap all the asp.net controls and buttons inside the Panel and set default button property of panel with the id of a button.

You need to add a panel in master page that wraps searchtextbox and a button.

Hi udayasankark,

There is no need to use panels (Overhead) if you are already using <form> in masterpage.

Please find a helpful article to solve this in proper manner
