Hi,
I want to know if we can use javascript for file encryption (not text). If yes then how?

Any help appreciated.

I mean to use javascript to read a file and then output an encrypted file.

Then I doubt that other standard browsers besides IE would be able to do it because they do not have permission to access local storage...
