Maybe the cam depends on http://ip.benellis.info being available. If so then the cam will go down in sympathy with the site.

I don't know what the mechanism might be but maybe something to do with the way the stream/snapshots are uploaded?

No no no The camera dosent even know about ip.benellis.info. It just responds to any requests it gets. Its set up with another dynamic dns provider which gives it the url dbaq.ipcam.hk

Then it's just coincidence that the cam and the site are down at the same time.

Nope. That's what I'm saying, ip.benellis.info/ is 100% down - at least from here it is.
