I am building a site and very often change my mind on something and changing all over again. So I am wondering if things such as a google gadget, does it have to be actually written inside the html or can I just insert it through php, so I can modify it later from a single file?

And can meta tags also be inserted from a php file?

Thank you!

Well, you think so. To answer your question, I really don't know.

Yes, they can. You can actually do all stuff Google has done in their products apart from dynamically changing the content of your webpage without reload. You then need to work with JavaScript.
