Update product price every 30sec in magento

Hello,

I have to update product prices every 30sec which is like the sites site1 and site2. i am just confused how they did in above sites. i am new to magento. please any body sugguest me

I am not fimiliar with magento but are you able to insert a meta tag in your site?

Not sure about above poster's comment but is worth looking into.

But I would imagine you have some php script which is polling another website, (say the price of gold) and then using that to update the page with ajax or jquery.
