I have downloaded the versions available at cnet and brothersoft but they are giving compatibility issues. Same goes for the version availabe at sourceforge.

Also if someone can help me out if i am missing something then i would really appreciate it. I am a newbee at php programming and can do with all the help.

@debal

PHPTraid

There's no version for Window 7. Read it carefully on the Operating system section.

Operating system: Windows 95/NT/98

Plus, it's pretty out of date.

You can used EasyPHP or XAMPP to run php scripts on your computer. Both of them are open source.

EasyPHP: http://www.easyphp.org/

XAMPP: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html

I have both of them on my computer. Both of them works great.

When I type "localhost" in my browser and i select "PhpMyAdmin" I get the following notifications:-

Error

MySQL said: Documentation

1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO).

Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed.

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

Did you have MySQL installed prior to installing this?

Yes

There lays your issue. Take a backup of your data folder.

Remove MySQL, and XAMPP (assuming you installed XAMPP). Reboot or use [CCLEANER], reinstall.

(CCleaner is ideal for not having to reboot after uninstalling stuff like this)
