How do i display first image of a post in my wordpress rss feed?

Hello Guys,

I need some help with customizing my wordpress rss feed. I have a blog with tons of posts with images in it, these images are remotely hosted. I want to display them in my rss feed.

How do i display first image of a post in my wordpress rss feed without using a plugin?
I tried RSS Image Feed plugin but it takes ages to generate the feed as images aren't self hosted.
If this requires modifying wordpress source code, i am ok with that to, just tell me what code i need to add in which file and ill do it ;)
