I am posting here because this feels like a technical problem rather than a bank support issue, and DaniWeb usually has people who understand what happens under the hood. I am trying to check my FAB bank balance using both their website and mobile app, but the balance screen either never loads or throws a generic error. At the same time, my internet connection is stable. Other banking sites, normal websites, and streaming services work without any issue.

I have already tried basic steps like changing browsers, clearing cache, switching between WiFi and mobile data, and testing on a different device. The result is always the same, which makes me think this is not a simple user side mistake. What confuses me is how only one service can fail while everything else works normally.

From a technical perspective, what could cause a single site or feature to break like this? Could it be related to DNS resolution, SSL negotiation, CDN routing, blocked scripts, or something server side that only affects certain regions or ISPs? I am frustrated because I urgently need access to my balance, but I am also genuinely curious about the technical reasons behind this kind of selective failure. Any insight from a web, networking, or any steps that i shoudl take to sovle this.....

If you've tried multiple options on your end, then it's most likely your bank's infrastructure that's at fault.

If you really want to peer under the hood, then use Wireshark and the SSLKEYLOGFILE.

If everything else works fine, the issue is likely on FAB Bank’s side rather than yours. Sometimes their servers, CDN, or regional routing can cause the balance page to fail. You can try using the official app or website from a different network or device, but delays or errors often come from server-side restrictions. For deeper insight, tools like Wireshark can show if SSL or network issues are happening, but for urgent access, check your balance via ATM, SMS alerts, or the FAB mobile app once it refreshes.
