First, I'd like to say, I am brand new to webdev, and this question is probably beneath most of you.

OK.

At the moment, I am using a listbox in which each listitem contains several pieces of information about a client, drawn from an SQL database, and filtered by attributes of the set of clients, such as the state they are in, status, and such...
I am using javascript to populate the listbox. Reports are generated on the clients selected in the listbox on form submission.

The problem is that the four or so pieces of information that each listitem contains are rather messy, as many are of different lengths...
I realize that it is possible to use a monospace font and spaces to create "columns" by making the total length of each piece a set # of characters. I'd rather not do that, though.

Is there a better control for this than listbox?

If you need more info, let me know.
