Hi i'm new to mobile development and I have some experience with objective-c but not much at all. My best programming language is python and i've written an app but I don't know how to publish it to the app store. FYI it's written in python if you haven't gotten that already.

Well, that's okay you can publish it over the store, make sure you have the .apk file. Make sure you follow the checklist provided by the Google do have your eyes over the check list, https://developer.android.com/distribute/tools/launch-checklist.html once done log yourself over the Google Play Developers account. Submit you application over the developer account if everything goes correctly you application will be live over the Google Store.
