DVD has a spot - drive won't read it... 16 Years Ago by SAZAR DVD drive won't read one of my DVD disks. It has a spot that is a bit darker and blurry. What is that? I went to oldversion.com and dl'd a copy of PowerDVD 7 which worked but it's a trial and I couldn't find a serial crack with the exact version number. Cheaper DVD-ROMs I have from the late 90s are malfunctioning already. It just seems a bit darker - it'… - the reflective layer start oxidizing... or something...
