Unfortunately I can't reproduce this. I'm able to use red when I want to use red and green when I want to use green both when using the wysiwyg editor and the standard editor.

OK ... people aren't going crazy. It was a bug with the standard editor that wasn't affected by the wysiwyg editor. Fixed.
