Here would be a truly capitalist election:
Let the candidates come up with money (their own and supporters), the 10 richest candidates get on the ballot. The money gets pooled and split amongst the voters that elected the winning candidate. Voter participation would be very high!
The money would be distributed to the winner-voters in secret and of course tax free in order to keep the secret. Why should TV stations, radio stations, newspapers and magazines enrich themselves, when it is the voter who deserves to loot.
