I am in school now for my masters. The school is college of information library science and technology. However, because of rules in place, we have to choose whether our degree will say Master of Library Science or Master of Information Science. Even though we are taking the courses for both, and graduates with either title will have the same coursework, we have to choose. My question is, which is better? I will leave the definition of better open for a wider variety of responses. Thank you in advance for taking the time thought to answer this question.

I'd say Master of Information Science.

Library = boring
Information = interesting

i'm really being subjective here ;)

Surely having a Masters Degree at all is a worthy achievement...
