starting a few days ago I have been getting bombarded daily with blank emails with the subject line "DaniWeb Digest for johnruelle".

WTF ?

Thanks. Unfortunately you don't appear to be the only person with crazy emails from us today. I'll have to reach out to James, our systems administrator. You wouldn't by any chance be able to forward to me the headers of the emails, would you? The blank messages aren't of much use on their own.

Let me know if you get another one, while I believe the issue is fixed, I don't actually know that for sure because I have yet to find a root cause.
