At Reverend Jim's suggestion, I'd like to ask if anyone has been finding it confusing or frustrating or having a poor overall experience with accurately tagging topics lately?

Have you ever started a new thread? As far as I know you must select at least one tag when you start a thread.

Just one, an Intro thread when I first joined. It does appear to have multiple tags on it but I don't recall selecting them myself. Are tags added automatically based on the content? Or perhaps based on the forum?

It would have been automatically tagged with first-post. However, a few weeks ago I used ChatGPT to re-tag articles going back to the beginning of time, so that’s probably where it accumulated its tags from.
