I am an independent IT and business consultant. I originally graduated as in computer engineering in 1984 (Languages then:Pascal, LISP, Motorola 6800 and 68000 Assembler) from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

Have worked as an IT consultant for many years (am also a qualified accountant).

Recently learned the basics of Python and am currently learning to develop in RoR.

My research is focused on semantic web, social networking (in the enterprise) and collaboration.

Married, three kids, live in Dublin, Ireland.
