I have owned at least one computer since 1983 (Kaypro 2.2 MHz). I have used wordprocessors extensively for all that time. I wrote constantly in my first profession. I used WordPerfect from 4.1 through 12. I have requested that MS buy WordPerfect and destroy all code for Word. I recently switched to Open Office 2.0 and I am enthralled with it.

I have built computers. My knowledge is very limited. I am trying to DIY everything. I am interested in everything. I am going to load Linux soon since my favorite programs are all Open Source Code. I adamantly consider the Windows clan to be a pernicious virus.

I look forward to chatting with you all. It will be awhile before I will have much to give. Enough!
