I am from Gibraltar and I hold a BSc in Computer Science. I have experience in Java and some C++.

I am a student (17). I learnt nearly all my VB.NET from the book "Visual Basic Step By Step" By Microsoft Press. It goes from "hello world" to web/database apps and the whole book and all the code is on the cd. Would higly recommend this book - it doesnt get bogged down in technical stuff, it just teaches you the raw facts.
