Guys planning for certifications! Well which path to opt for MCSE or MCSD. Any suggestion from any one will be highly appreciated.

Well, from a financial point of view the MCSD will probably net you more money. VB.NET and C# programmers are pretty hot right now.
You are asking about two different parts of the computing field. Would you be the type of person that enjoys supporting Windows or making new applications for Windows? Maybe test the waters and take the Windows 2003 cert and then try one of the programming oriented certs. Which one did you like more?
You could always do both, there are a lot of people that hold both certifications, then you would be a double threat guy!
