hi
i am trying to install avi-xmms but it asks for blib
so i download it (ver 2.12.0) after intalled by ./configure , make , rm -rf /install-prefix/include/glib.h and make install i try to install avi-xmms again but i got this error:
tje g;on-config script installed y glib could not be found if glib was installed in prefix,make sure prefix/bin is in your path, or set the glib_config environment variable to the full path to glib-config.
configure error: error:***glib >= 1.2.2 not installed - please install first.


i don't knwo what to do, i'm a new fedora user

if you type env and then cut and paste to here your path thats a good place to start. Or you can edit you .profile or whatever profile file you use and add :installdirofglib/bin (change the installdirofglib for the install directory of glib) you might be able to use the command whereis glib or which glib to tell you the dir. Also have you checked the versions are compatable.
