I need a search function, but the problem is the website is a huge, HUGE static site with thousands of products. I originally designed a parallel site with Coldfusion and incorporated a database, but now he wants a similar search function that a user can type a word and find on his static site. I have read a little about index files that index the hundreds of thousands of text and words on a site, but unsure how to go about starting such a project. Thanks for any help!

Update:
I found a software package called Zoom Search and it seems to work well. Very easy to use with a very nice GUI. Its not free, but to index 200,000 pages for $99 is very reasonable. Anyone know of other tools such as this? I also tried Swish e, but its all command line setup and configure, so quite a bit more complicated.
