Happy New Year Everyone!
By the time you read this perhaps you have enjoyed a safe fun and fun New years celebration. I have been making the graphics for my deisgn in Photoshop and putting them together in Dreamweaver. While I will still use Dreamweaver I recently fired up Fireworks I have been trying to learn slicing with Fireworks since it has new CSS capabilities.
I have watched and read tutorials and it seems that slicing works with simple sites where there a re clear boundaries between texts and graphics adn maybe even not a lot of graphics. ON complex sites, however, slicing, so far, does not seem to be an efficient way to do things. ANy suggestions? AM I missing something with Fireworks slicing capabilities? Maybe i am slicing incorrectly (although I don't see how)? I even watched a Lynda.com video on Fireworks but, again, this seems to only be fit for simple sites.
