Open My Documents click File on the tool bar then put your mouse over new and then click folder.

Hmmm... followed those instructions exactly but HTJ still gives me a warning that it is temporary folder (?)
I went to My Documents, created new folder in file menu, named it & dropped in Hijack Zip. What am I doing wrong?

You probably need to unzip it :)

To unzip it, right-click on the hijckthis.zip file, and then choose the "Extract All..." option from the menu; this will start XP's extraction Wizard. Follow the Wizard's steps using the default selections. This will create a sub-folder named HijackThis, which contains the actual hijackthis.exe program.

Oh, by the way, it's caperjack (not camperjack :) )

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions and navigate to and delete the following if found:

C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\Setup----folder

In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

Reboot normally.
