I have an AOL mail account and yesterday at about 11:30am an email was sent from my email address to everyone in my address book. This email was not sent by me or any one in my family, and it talked about shopping in China. Since the incident I have recieved 10 to 15 emails back saying things like the message could not be delivered for one reason or another like virus protection software or there were too many recpients. I have changed my password for my email and some of my finacial accounts as well. I have run malwarebytes and have now bought Norton AntiVirus.

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Windows XP and a iMac with 10.5.

This is the malwarebytes log:

Hi,
One glaring problem I note in the logs is that you are running portions of multiple anti-virus programs. I see Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 12, McAfee Security Scan, Norton AntiVirus which is a BIG no-no. This means that NONE of them will work correctly even though loaded. They will fight against each other and as you have seen, offer no protection at all, or very little at best.
My advice would be UNINSTALL them ALL via Add/Remove. Follow all prompts EXACTLY. Once you have uninstalled them then also go HERE and download and run the Removal Tool for each one to be certain that ALL remaining files are gone.
If you have paid for a new version of one of them, and have the install disk OR the license code for the download of the new version then use that. If you have not done this, and all three of those programs are PAID programs so you must pay for them in order for them to work, then go with ONE of these FREE programs, both are excellent. Either Avira or Avast.
Once you have the new anti-virus program installed and UPDATED then run a full scan with it and have it Fix/Quarantine or Remove whatever is found.

You did not allow MBA-M to fix any of the items found. Please UPDATE it again, run another Full System Scan and then when you are shown what was found REMOVE ALL. Then REBOOT the computer.
The ESET log should have been created on your computer and located at C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
If you also chose NOT to fix anything found by the ESET scanner then run it again and this time have it fix whatever is found.
Reboot the computer. Run a new HJT scan and post the MBA-M log, the ESET log and the new HJT log.

I just bought and installed the Norton Antivirus last night if I remove it will I be able to install it again?

I just bought and installed the Norton Antivirus last night if I remove it will I be able to install it again?

Absolutely. But you MUST UNINSTALL all three of those first, and the Norton should be uninstalled also, just to be certain that it IS installed correctly.

Uninstall all of those as directed, then do the online ESET scan, that way you won't have to worry about having to turn off the Norton, since that is required when running the ESET scan. Also do the MBA-M scan and remove all found also. Reboot after each one of those. THEN reinstall your Norton program, update it and then do a Full Scan with it and remove/quarantine or fix whatever is found.
Then do the HJT scan. Post back with the MBA-M, the ESET and the new HJT logs.

The logs look clean to me. Your Java is WAY out of date and must be updated. Go HERE and download the Offline Install, save it to the desk top.
Close all browsers.

Once you have done that go to Add/Remove and Uninstall J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
When the uninstall is complete then double click that Java Install file on the desktop to install the newest version. Keep an eye on the install as it takes place, occasionally there are other toolbars which may be installed along with this UNLESS you remove the check mark next to the box saying it is ok to do so. Don't take any of those toolbars, take the check marks out.
Once the install is complete go back to the download page and click the Verify Now on the right side of the page. This will take you to the page where you will see if your installation went as it should have gone.
Then install your Norton program, update it and run a full scan with it. If it finds anything have it remove/fix/quarantine...which ever choice is given.
