Howdy ya'll - I'm confused - I just walked a friend through updating and immunizing Spybot over the phone and after the immunization was done, my friend said the number of blocked products was 7324!

After I updated my own and immunized, there were only 2505 blocked products. How can that be???

Also... regarding Spybots Hosts file - does it update itself, or is that something I must do regularly?

Ok - I found my own answer - duh - there is a new version of Spybot (v1.4) which blocks more bad products.

I will mark this as solved even though I am still curious about whether or not the Host file needs to be updated regularly or if Spybot updates it.
