BTW- I cant get symlcsvc.exe off my computer im pretty sure it was a norton process but i uninstalled norton and now it wont let me end the process because it is a system process.Do you know of a program that ends system processes and just out of curiousity is there a program so that you can open and explore, or delete system value information, because i attached a second hard drive to my computer and i cant get rid of system value information

Hijackthis has a process viewer in it's misc tools section. If that doesn't help, it also has a delete a file on reboot option.
As for a system value editor, I'm not sure.

BTW- I cant get symlcsvc.exe off my computer im pretty sure it was a norton process but i uninstalled norton and now it wont let me end the process because it is a system process.Do you know of a program that ends system processes and just out of curiousity is there a program so that you can open and explore, or delete system value information, because i attached a second hard drive to my computer and i cant get rid of system value information

well when i shutdown or restart the computer it says that explorer.exe is not closing and ask me if i want to end now or wait for it to end itself and it says explorer.exe is being used by the connections tray. I recently changed from wireless to DSL so it might just be that if thats nothing ill mark as solved. thx

Not sure what is happening there. You may want to try a good registry cleaner and see if that helps. May be something that is not completely uninstalled.
