HJT Amaena

[fil_2065]

Ive been geting the amaena pop ups and cant seem to get rid of them. Ive run all my Virus Scanners and other stuff but still an unable to rid the computer of this anoyance. Ive followed all the recommnded prep work before i bothered to send this.

Hi,
1. Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

2. You're running in diagnostic startup mode, can you please checkmarked all startup entries before you run Hijackthis again, any startup entries that you unchecked are not showing in the log and we need to know if those programs you disabled are malware.

1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop.

*Click on Avenger.zip to open the file
*Extract avenger.exe to your desktop

Start up Avenger.
Check the 'Input script manually' option.
Click the Magnifying Glass icon.
In the box that opens, copy,then paste the following red bold text:

3. Download and install Superantispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/downloadfile.html?productid=SUPERANTISPYWAREFREE

Load Superantispyware and click the check for updates button.
Once the update is finished, close SuperAntispyware again, we'll perform the scan later in safe mode

* Start Superantispyware.
Click the scan your computer button.
Check Perform Complete Scan and then next.
Superantispyware will now scan your computer and when its finished it will list all the infections it has found.
Make sure that they all have a check next to them and press next.
Click finish and you will be taken back to the main interface.

I'm so sorry to not replied promptly.
what it says in the Avenger txt was it couldn't find those files that's why it couldn't delete them. Maybe those were just registry entries leftovers.

Delete this service --> nwclntc
Go to Start Menu > Run > type

cmd

Press OK then type or copy and paste these commands onto the cmd screen pressing Enter after each line:

sc stop nwclntc
sc delete nwclntc

exit

C:\WINDOWS\system32\yyufkqmq.exe <-- delete this file

also check to make sure that these files are no longer present, delete them if they are still there.

I noticed you have disabled/unchecked startup entries in msconfig, can you checked all those entries and run another scan with hijackthis so those entries will appear in the log?
