Hello all,

I have just bought a new Mac and even though I know a lot of things about it, I ran into a downloading problem.

I want to download some torrents from programs I really need. I have tried maybe five programs for downloading, but each time I press to download the torrent, the screen says something like this

"Download error /Users/myname/Downloads/Gorilla_Film_Production_Software___Final_Draft_7_(Mac).4864881.TPB-5.torrent could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred.

Try saving to disk first and then opening the file."

please, if anyone knows how to help me with this. I have been told that there is a place to allow downloading and it can be regulated.
