I am not sure what category this belongs in but here it goes. My PC shuts off on it's own. I thought perhaps it was getting too hot so i took the sides off and put a portable fan in front of it. I am in Texas so sometimes it helps and sometimes it does not. My other concern is: Saturday I turned on my pc and it did a chk disk.
It deleted many files. Should I reload windows to repair deleted files? I have not been prompted to do so but I am concerned. I appears so far anyway, the only files missing appear to be emails. Thanks so much for the assistance. Looking forward to hearing from you.
