I can connect to the internet using my wireless USB2.0 adaptor, and it's DEFINATELY connected. The computer confirms data is being transferred. But when I open Internet explorer, firefox or opera browsers, i get a message saying "you appear to be connected to the internet but you should try reconnecting" or something. I have no idea what it's on about, and I know a hell of a lot about computers. please help!!!

Hi,
try this on IE (IE8), go to Start/if IE is pined to the start menu then, right-click on the icon and click on 'internet properties'/ select the connections tab/click on LAN settings see if the 'Automatically detect settings' is checked.
If it's not checked then check it and try browse the internet.
