Hi,

First post (be gentle with me). Probably very fundamental query to most of you (but, whilst new to this, I'm learning pretty fast:)).

I have a network consisting of 5 LAN'd PC's. Shared folders are used to throw documents etc back and forth.

However, the bosses (Tom, Dick and Harry) also want to share sensitive stuff between themselves (and even behind each other) at times.

Can I make shared folders on each machine that can, likely, be seen (although it would be even better if they could be ordinarily invisible) to exist on the network but not accessed without a password?

Say, Tom wanted to share something with Dick but didn't want Harry (nor the other two users) to have access to, can I create a folder into which he could place such information, on a Friday evening and party the weekend away safe in the knowledge that only Tom can access it?

Any advice would be gratefully received.:)
