ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

erm... you can always use rocks... that's the best goals there is... :D

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

what are you talking about?

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i'm playing now the one with the ants... ant buster...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

but... have you seen them being used?

i'd say that is because soccer goals would obstruct vehicles if installed in the middle of a street...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

has anyone seen jocamps? we haven't played our match...

ha... i know... he's trying to psyche me out...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

>>but other times depriving them of toys etc... works just as well

yup... thats a good solution too... and if its really bad, then make him have a combo...

-smack and no toys with big fries to go please!!!-

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i'd say its the best way to teach a child to behave... but i'd also give him treats when he behaves... not always, because he will behave expecting a prize, so when you stop giving him things, he will misbehave about you not giving him a prize... but teach him that if he behaves, there's more probability of being a treat... but when he misbehaves theres 100% probability he will get smacked...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

thnx for your help...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

arrays have to be constant
maybe:
const int size = b;
int array;
Of coarse, once it's done, you can't re-size it.

why not use a vector?

did you try it? 'cuz when i did that, it sent me the error Error 13: Constant expression required i don't use a vector because it is not what i need...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

Well I am no expert on forks either, but I have done a little with them in C (I assume principals will be the same with C++).

actually... AFAIK, they follow the same principles, but don't look alike...

i know the work by using a parent and children... but what i don't know is HOW to do it... what commands to use and that stuff...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i know i learned it somewhere, but its been a while since i used it... how do you make an user given array size... i mean...

int b;
cout<<"Input the array size: ";
cin>>b;
int array[b];

i know this is not hte way of doing it... but just so you get the idea of what i need to do...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

woot woot!!!

i've been playing other games in that page... no **** they are addictive...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

hmmm... i guess leo messi... 1.- because he plays in barça, 2.- because he plays soo great... have you seen how he gets rid of three defenders at a time?

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

man, you own my respect for your patience...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

that's right... and i hate it when its that way...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

if you show us how far you have gone, it will be easier for us to help you

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

ohh yeah... i'm pretty sure i invented curses of my own when i noticed my mouse's batteries were running low... since in that level (mysteriously) was where it started to fail...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

yup... that's what i focus in...

most of the time my second move is with my queen... although i also focus on the defense... (or not sk8?)...

my favorite plays are those where you put your opponent in a situation in which he must pick what piece he prefers to lose...
or doing the same with a check... they're so nice... lol

also... i don't care losing a piece or two if i have something planned to do... they're sacrifices that must be done to achieve victory...

and when a mate is imminent i love fooling around with the other players, most of the time until they have nothing more than the king on their side... haha

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

they're all easy... if you left click... lol

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

not now... but not a long time ago i needed to, so i would like to learn before i run into that situation again...

well... actually, that fork was the reason i joined daniweb... i was so mad i couldn't figure it out, i needed to ask for help... and in the end i didn't use it because i didn't understand it...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

yup... that's what i do in the ones that tell you not to touch a color...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i am willing to bet good money that he is going to win his next game.

you better don't... cuz he's playing me... :D

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

you must post your code so we can help you... did you read the announcements?

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

crap... i got until the one of the shooting star... but i lost...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i guess... its just too hard to get past the eighties...

let me try one more time...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

yup... except for those who are world wide premieres... (duh)

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

soccer, racing, cycling... and i'm pretty much into dangerous sports too...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i'm still waiting for it to come here... it won't for like a month more...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

>>Aia is a he

haha... sorry... :P

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i'm not much a fan of basketball...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

Hope Aia didn't bet against me, cause she would've lost lots of money...

i beat sk8... (sorry dude) and now looking forward to play jocamps...

whenever you're ready partner...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i've always dreamed on racing a formula 1 car... or at least a rally race... i'm addicted to speed...

I drive an '87 Nissan Pathfinder and i race it to 180 kph... imagine how i would grab a nascar racer...

by the way nieves, i guess in all spanish-speaking countries soccer is known as football... since it's not common to play football (american) in any latin or latin-american countries...

i don't even think they play outside america...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

hmm.. since we're at a two hour difference, i'll guess it's 8:00 there now... so... i'll be here until like 10:00 (your time)... just until CSI begins... sorry... can't miss it... season finale...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

got until level 42... dunno how to make it through...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i mean...in the other threads...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i guess it is... as far as i know there haven't been any other matches... the last one was me against rash...

it was all aia's fault for betting against me... (i'll get you aia...)

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

yeah... i love watching football...although i will have to disagree with you... soccer doesn't suck... it's great...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

now... i play the most famous sport in the whole wide world... as much as the major part of men in the world... yeah... you know what it is... soccer...

but i also am into racquetball... it's just so exhausting... i love it...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

Hmm... That is about the 5th time I've heard someone use that same analogy for several different threads.

probably it was joe too...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

geeks are not known for their aptitudes at sports... nonetheless, there are some of us who do like sports, and like to get sweaty and dirty... so, why not get a bit off-topic and discuss about our favourite sports?

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

my god... that was intense... i was sweating already...

good game rashakil... sk8, here i go...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

there's several people that don't know how GMT works... so... here it is:

GMT stands for Greenwich Meridian Time (as far as i know). Greenwich is where meridian 0 is located. time differences are ruled by the meridians.

If i am at GMT -6:00, it means i am at 6 hours less than ground zero, being Greenwich. this means that if in Greenwich is 6:00 pm, here it is 12:00 pm. So... if someone is at GMT +4:00 and someone else is at GMT -4:00, there are 8 hours difference between one another... meaning that if it is 8:00 am at GMT -4:00, it is 4:00 pm at GMT +4:00...

If you don't know how to locate your GMT, i'm pretty sure you can find it in this beautiful encyclopedia called internet...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

Rashakil, just let me know when you're ready...

I'm at GMT -6:00, BTW...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

that's impossible...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

Next tournament we will meet face to face in front of the board. Then will see who can swear in Spanish the worse, every time that we make a wrong move. ;)

I guess i'll never swear then... 'cause i never make wrong moves... :D

--I'd bet i'd win though...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

haha... i'm sorry... but the unlucky are unlucky... hope you didn't put any money on that...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

i know how forks work... what i don-t know is how to use them...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster

woohooo!!!

nice played jbennet... Rashakil, here i come...

ndeniche 402 Posting Virtuoso Featured Poster
