I have got a problem with this hack. I converts everything correctly but on the forum home it doesn't convert the main categories correctly. Please got http://www.webmastertalk.in and see the main categories url

Webhosting Forum - Converted URL: http://www.webmastertalk.in/.html
Similar is with Web Development Forum, Website Traffic Forum, Marketplace and Community Forum .

Could you please let me know what could I be doing wrong?

It is similar to GMail invitation :D Nobody now needs a GMail Invitation.

Just reply with your email address so that we can send you GMail Invites or send me a PM.

Remember earlier days when people wanted to have Invitation and they have to pay some money or something like this... at that time if you have many invitation available; you could do some business ;)

Why no Family Guy avatars? Every single custom one I try to use is too big, and one of them didn't even work.

So... no interest or something? If there is, could someone help me get a Family Guy avatar that would work for this site? thanx

Just use PhotoShop and resize to the required size :D

Instead of typing direct url for example http://www.google.com and letting email client to make it hyperlink ... you can use <a href="http://www.google.com">Yahoo</a>. This will mask Yahoo to google :D

GMail Drive is a Shell Namespace Extension that creates a virtual filesystem around your Google GMail account, allowing you to use GMail as a storage medium.

GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google GMail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your GMail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. GMail Drive literally adds a new drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create new folders, copy and drag'n'drop files to.

You may try http://www.whois.sc/domain.ext
Just replace domain.ext with real domain for example http://www.whois.sc/realvaluehosting.com

Hi All,

I have joined this nice active community sometime ago. Let me tell you something about myself. I am Sonia and I live in India. I work with Real Value Hosting. I am more into Webmastering than programing though I started as a programmer

Recently, we have started a new Webmaster Discussion Forum. Did you say, "Oh no! Not again. There are so many Webmasters' forums already!!!" . Okay I do understand this but we are a little different. WebmasterTalk.in discussion forum is the fastest growing and very active group of Webmasters from all over the world. You can discuss here topics related to web hosting, software, control panels, programming/scripting languages (ColdFusion, PHP, ASP etc), web designing, advertising, SEO, Google discussion etc. We reward our active members with Real Money. Do check.

Also, I would like to invite you to add your website to Webmaster Resource Directory. It takes less than a minute to add your website and it is 100% free. Also, we don't require any reciprocal link.

I hope that I would learn new things with you people. I will also try contributing in this community and stay active.

Regards,
Sonia

Thanks cscgal!

This is exactly how I have been running ADs on my forums. I show ads after first post and if their are more than 5 replies I show another banner after last post (above quick reply) but I am not getting much results from that. Anyway, thanks for sharing your exp. I have already been learning a lots of things from you :) I have recently applied your Search Engine Freindly hack on my forums.

One more thing... I have just integrated Webmaster Directory with my forums. Hope this will bring some extra traffic and $$$s too :D

I run a << url snipped to comply with forum policy >> and I have placed AdSense there. I have heard that there are a lots of webmasters who are making good $$$s from Adsense. I am sorry to say but I am making almost nothing with Adsense. Nobody seems to clicking on the Ads. I have converted my forums to Search Engine freindly, tried changed the colors (border, background etc.) for Ads etc. but there is no improvments.

I want to hear from other Forum Owners ... how is AdSence doing for them? What is the best place to put ADs on the forums? Is it between your posts or header or footer? Which AD format does the best for you?

I would like to hear your REAL exp. ;)
