because we all here, are part of community and some are good and some are bad in it some times. you can think that i was bad at that time and you were good and still good at this time. this thing should motivate you. I can't explain how james sir has changed my behaviour. He has taught me not to include professionalism and feeling in one way. i was worst in my bad times, that doesnt mean i am still that kind of person. sorry for that and thanks to james sir forever. :-)

a linked list is given, and a only pointer to a node is given which need to be deleted. it is singly linked list. you dnt have accees to any other pointer like head or what. you only have that node pointer in ur hand. thanks.

sir, i know that codes are really tuff to understand. but i was willing to know just about basic working. like, when you u have told me about map in STL. (they are implemented as red black trees and they have logn complexity and all..). so , i want to know how unordered_set works and does it hash the values or not and how it retrive the results for queries. thanks

hey! i will advice you one thing here. Just read once CLRS topic AVL trees. the explaination which they have given is blossom! believe me. seen you code a little bit and seen some logical error. have made full AVL tree in last semester. just read once and you will be able to judge yourself. if you still find any problem, then post it here. thanks

@npcomplete this is the most common mistake which you have done. This thing is valid for the 2 numbers and if you want to extend it then here goes:

lcm(a,b,c,d....)= gcd(a,b,c,d....)* (a/gcd(a,b,c,d.....))* (b/gcd(a,b,c,d.....)) * (c/gcd(a,b,c,d....)).......

try with 5,10,15 and your algo will not work and then do it with mine, it will work for every set of numbers.

@waltP you are talking about which algorithm if you don't want to make use of gcd here? please throw a little bit light on it.

So what's your point of saying "are you done with it?"

If the definition in the same file as the extern declaration is the only definition then the extern declaration will refer to it. I didnt get this line. will you please re-write it in different form ?

so @deceptikon when i am writing extern int i; and then using x in my program . So according to you, it it will not work because it is not defined ? But my question is that why will it not work as x is defined else where so it will present in trslation unit after linking from different file.

secondly, isn't this an error as i am saying to compiler that x is defined else where and again i am defining another x, so isn't it a re defintion of x error ? i don't know why am i confused so much in this thing as i know much about these already. thanks

@deceptikon when i use extern int i; and it is also present in other file, then after that i can use it normally ? right ? like x=10 or int x=10 ? i think after declaring i just need to use x=10 only as i have already specified that it is int and extern. am i right ?

secondly, we say that declaration don't allocate memory, that means when i am writing extern int x then it will refer that variable present in the other file automatically ?

in the same file ?
