What is the difference between grammar and syntax in a language?

Hello,

I am moving this to Computer Science, as it is a theory question, and not specific to Windows.

For my 2 cents, we refer to command syntax, and grammar in the documentation.

well.........there's not much
a diff. btween grammar and syntax
gramma is a much more wide term than syntax
we can say syntax analysis is a part of whole grammar
