I appreciate it if you share with me your information and experiences to create scientific software applications. From that very wide range of software, I am pointing to what that can be used for easy calculation and computation such as Python together with high quality visualizations. Please be certain in your responses since I am aware of many available ones which are not the perfect answer for my question.
For example, using matplotlib together with numpy and scipy (Python packages) could be good choice for some computation and associated charting however it is not obviously suitable for 3D charting. Actually, implementation of interactive charting system in Python is nightmare.
There are many needs to have the flexibility of working with matrices and background mathematics, and 2D, 3D and 4D visualization (absolutely interactive), high quality (anti-aliased, vectorized etc), high performance (working with large datasets) etc.
