Hiya,

Discoverer admin/desktop.

There is this issue we do have in my place of work. We use a the tool called discover admin /desktop. The discoverer desktop is only accessible till 4:59pm exactly when it is 5:00pm it doesn't work and immediately it is 6:00pm it start working again. I don't know what could be the problem. My Supervisor is already on my neck. Please kindly assist.

You need top pass more information.

Do not expect us to guess and solve the problem that you are facing.

MY GUESS :--May be there is a TRIGGER to control the log in activity at system level.

All what we notice is that the desktop can't be log on to at this particular time.

That's what you see, as an end user.
Ask your DBA and sysadmin people, they have almost certainly locked the application during that time.
Probably for a backup or whatever.
