There are many good tools to draw ER diagrams. If you are just drawing a diagram and not interested in generating SQL/DDL you could use any of the myraid drawing tools. I have used Dia (freeware) does a great job, you can even try out visio.
If you are looking at creating diagrams from existing table structure or maybe generate diagrams as you define schema, you may have to look at database developer tools like dbvis, sqlyog ..etc
BTW you can check out another interesting DB tool that also does ER diagrams as you define schemas by clicking my signature :)
