Hello everyone - I am new here and would like to ask a question.
It might sound silly (because I have no knowledge at all) - but I still hope to get some answers.

I want to know how to best develop a homepage for my student group, where
* you can log in
* after you log in, your personal page shows you news, recent events and new updates in the download area
* in the download area I would like to have a link to some kind of mobile phone (iPhone) application (should work both ways, so to up and download from your phone)

I would appreciate all the answers!! Thanks in advance

Develop you website in what ever language you wish just make sure it does provide JSON when queried so you can then easily send request from mobile.
