Hi all,
I want to create an ActiveX component in C#.NET which will be called/accessed by Flash application. In my ActiveX I want to scan local media files (.avi, .wmv etc) on client machine & also generate (and save locally) the thumbnails of those media files, finally I will expoase a method which will do all the scanning and return an XML containing the local video path and the thumbnail path as output. This method will be called from Flash Application. To generate thumbnauils i m using a third party DLL so i also wanna how to refer to an dll in my ActiveX

I just need a kick start on how to write an ActiveX Plugin Component in C#, the methoda exposed in it can be accessed by my Flash Component which is a Flash exe file.
