i got one UI that created by java, i take it and generate jar file and when i double click that jar file to open the UI only program, it takes around five seconds, its quite long and my computer is dual core. if the same thing create in visual basic, i believe the time it takes is less than that (correct me if im wrong)
my questions are:
does java appropriate to use in application ?
why is UI only program(no back end) taking so long to run ?
will it takes longer to run if completed system is invoke (UI + back end)?
which areas are used most by java ? website back end ? java games ? and .. ?
