I'm about to embark on a biometrics project specifically a fingerprint project. If someone could help me with source codes or web sources to get helpful stuff, I would greatly appreciate it.

With a little googling you should get (helpful) stuff

or

You can also define your searches from the "Advanced Search" options. For example, search only domains .edu
http://www.google.com/search?q=fingerprint+biometrics+"source+code"+site%3A.edu
