I am trying to write an application for connecting to JABBER chat server,something like a chat client.i know there are many ways to do this like using agsXMPP library or jabber-net library,i wanna know can someone help me and tell me how can i use Winsock (mswinsck.ocx) to do this?
i can connect to a server by winsock but i dont know how can i send username and password with that.the jabber using digest midp method for authenticating . tnx
