MySQL Community Server Need Help

Hello can you help me please,

Hi,.I Downloaded the Mysql community server and i installed it to my windows xp.The problem is i don't know how to set up the database.I want to use this in my program because i have never been using Mysql as my database i always use the Ms Access.can you help me please how can i create database and to connect into my java program.I made a simple program Student Record and i want to connect and to test the database using Mysql.please help me.correct me if i am wrong...Thank you in advance and i'm hoping for your positive response.

and install it. how do i create the database?what do you mean by this
